Drift is caused by the wind which deflects a certain amount of granules at an undesired location. Drift management is a procedure that ensures that no granule will be drifted in protected areas.

No, you always need to respect the operational limits of the UAV (maximum take-off weight, space under the drone, etc.). Modifications will have to be made to make the UAV compatible with the attachment system. The attachment system can currently be installed on a modified DJI S1000+ without an integration kit. If you want to use the UGS spreader on another UAV, contact sales@cfr-innovations.com. Integration kits may also be available for your system.

The spreading rate can be adjusted before the flight.

Regular or irregular shaped granules can be used. By default, the UGS-1 is designed for spreading granules with a diameter less than 6mm. You can send pictures of your granules at sales@cfr-innovations.com for a confirmation.
